Beauty for Books™ is a California-based 501c3 non-profit organization serving needy primary and elementary schools in the United States. The organization is made up of licensed physicians, nurses (and other healthcare professionals working under the direction of participating physicians). Participating physicians identify needy school and educational libraries in their communities and create an agreement to provide grade K-8 appropriate books that are generated by donations from their respective communities in exchange for complimentary aesthetic services and products provided by the participating physicians and their practices. Beauty for Books™ has also established a scholarship FUND-A-NEED for current teachers to expand their degree by completing an online library-credentialing course. Donors to the FUND-A-NEED will receive complimentary aesthetic services and products provided by the participating physicians and practices.
